Plan for Change: Intune end of support for Internet Explorer 11

The Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center is built on Azure. The Azure team announced that the end of support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) admin access to the Admin Portal web app UI is on March 31, 2021. Therefore, as a reminder, Intune will move to end admin center support for IE 11 on March 31, 2021. Please move to Microsoft Edge or another supported browser at that time to administer any of your Microsoft services built on Azure.

How this will affect your organization

This will only impact you if you’re using IE 11 to access the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.

Move to a different supported browser after March 31, 2021 for your Endpoint Manager and Intune administration. Note that IE 11 service lifecycle follows the schedule listed below (however, check the documentation linked for the latest dates; these are provided for your convenience):

• Microsoft Teams web app – ended support November 30, 2020 (MC220490 & MC228224)
• Azure DevOps – ended December 31, 2020
• Azure Portal web app – ends support March 31, 2021
• Microsoft 365 apps and services – ends support August 17, 2021 (MC220490 & MC228224)
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 – ends support August 17, 2021 (MC3683)
• Microsoft Power Platform – ends support August 17, 2021 (MC3683)
• My suite of products (such as My Apps, My Account, My Access, and My Groups) – ends support August 17, 2021 (MC220490 & MC228224)
