We are making a few updates to the SharePoint site template gallery experience.

Embed web part in SharePoint spaces will allow users to insert HTML pages as web parts in a SharePoint space. Space viewers will see a thumbnail image in the 3D space that can be viewed as a fully functional HTML overlay when selected by the user. Space viewers that are using a mixed reality headset will only see the thumbnail when selecting the web part unless they return to the browser to interact with the embedded content.

We are updating the file sharing and access control experience in Microsoft Teams to make it similar to the experience with other Microsoft 365 apps. We had announced (MC218732) this feature last fall but delayed the rollout to ensure the best customer experience.

There may be times when managers need more formal attestation, such as a signature, before being able to act on an approval request. We will soon allow Teams admins to enable electronic signature support through DocuSign within the Microsoft Teams Approval app (desktop and web).

Microsoft Teams tab actions are moving out of the tab header bar and into the tab dropdown to help declutter the user experience. This impacts all first-party and third-party application tabs in chats, channels and meetings, such as Assignments, Grades, Planner or the Website tab. These tab actions will be found by clicking on the tab name to show a dropdown menu. These actions include:
